This policy explains what personal information Crazy Themes (“we”, “us”) collects through crazy-themes.com, why, and what you can do about it. If you have a question about it, write to support@crazy-themes.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored in a scrambled form that we cannot read.
- Orders and downloads: what you bought or downloaded, when, the licence chosen, and your billing details for paid orders.
- Author information: the items, images and descriptions you upload, your sales and earnings, and the details needed to pay you.
- Reviews: ratings and reviews you post, shown publicly with your display name.
- Messages: what you send through the Support and Hire a Developer forms, and emails you send us.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, kept in server logs and used to limit abuse of our forms and downloads.
Why we use it
- To run your account and deliver what you have bought or downloaded.
- To take payment, record author earnings and pay authors.
- To reply to your messages and provide support.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud and misuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
- Payment providers process your payment. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Authors can see that their item was sold and what they earned. They do not see your name, email or billing details. If you ask for support with an item, we pass your question to its author so they can answer it.
- Service providers who host the site and deliver our email, acting on our instructions.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage that the site needs in order to work: to keep you signed in, to remember what is in your cart, to note how you arrived when you place an order, and to remember your light or dark display preference. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Account, order and earnings records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with them. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Keeping it safe
Item files are stored where they cannot be fetched by address and are delivered only to signed-in owners. Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it to run the marketplace. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we hold and will tell you if a breach affects you.
Your choices
- See and change your details at any time under My Account.
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to correct it.
- Ask us to close your account and delete your information. We will keep only what the law requires us to, such as records of orders.
Write to support@crazy-themes.com for any of these. We reply within 30 days.
Children
Crazy Themes is not intended for children. Accounts are for people aged 18 or over, or with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date below shows when it last changed.
