Items on Crazy Themes are digital files. Once downloaded they cannot be handed back, so we cannot refund an order simply because you no longer want the item. We do refund when something is genuinely wrong. This page sets out when.
When we refund
- The item is not as described. It is materially different from its item page or its preview.
- The item does not work as it should and the author cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time.
- The item has a security fault that the author cannot or will not fix.
- Support was promised but not given. The item page says the author offers support, you asked within the support period, and you got no help.
- You have not downloaded it. You bought the item by mistake and have not downloaded it.
- You were charged twice for the same item.
When we do not refund
- You downloaded the item and then changed your mind, or found something you prefer.
- The item works as described but is not what you expected, or does not suit your project.
- You do not have the skills or the software needed to use it. Item pages list what each item works with; please check before buying.
- The problem comes from your hosting, another plugin or theme, or changes you made to the item.
- The item has since been withdrawn from sale. Your licence and your copy remain valid.
- You do not give us enough information to look into the request.
Time limit
Ask within 30 days of the order. After that we cannot refund, although the author may still help under the item’s support.
How to ask
- If the problem is a fault, tell us what is wrong through the Support page, choosing “An item I bought” and giving your order number. Often the author can fix it, which is quicker than a refund.
- If it cannot be fixed, or the request is for one of the other reasons above, we review it and reply within five working days.
- Where the author and the buyer disagree, we decide, and our decision is final.
After a refund
The money goes back to the payment method you used; how long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider. Your licence for the item ends, so you must stop using it and remove it from anything you built with it.
Free items
Free items cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund. The rest of this policy does not apply to them.
