Regular or extended: choosing the right licence

Every item on Crazy Themes comes with a regular licence, and paid items may also offer an extended one. The difference comes down to one question: will people pay to use the thing you are building?

Choose the regular licence when…

…the end product is free for its users. A company site, a blog, a portfolio, or a shop selling its own products all qualify. You can also build the site for a client and charge them for your work.

Choose the extended licence when…

…end users are charged to access or buy the end product. A paid web app, a subscription service, or a site you sell on as a finished product needs the extended licence.

What both have in common

One licence covers one end product. You can modify the item freely, and you get updates for as long as the item is listed. You cannot resell or share the item itself under either licence.

The full wording is on the Licences page.
