Nothing appears in the Crazy Themes catalogue until a person on our team has looked at it. Authors often ask what we look for, so here it is.
What we check
- The listing matches the item. Screenshots, the preview and the description must show what the buyer will actually download.
- The package is sound. The ZIP opens, contains what it should, and holds no file types that have no place in a theme or plugin.
- It works as described. The features listed on the item page are present and function.
- The rights are in order. Authors confirm that they made the item or hold the rights to everything inside it.
If an item is not ready
We send it back with specific feedback, not a bare rejection. The author sees that feedback in their account, fixes the item and submits it again without re-uploading everything. Most items that are sent back are approved on the second round.
After approval
The author gets an email, the item goes live, and it shows as new in the catalogue for its first two weeks.
