The challenge

Two out of three visitors arrived on a phone, but the old booking form was built for desktop: seven steps, tiny date pickers and a payment page that often timed out. Many guests gave up and booked through travel sites instead, costing the hotels a commission on every stay.

Our solution

We watched real guests try to book a room, then redesigned the journey around three simple steps: choose dates, pick a room, pay. Large touch-friendly calendars, clear prices with no surprises and saved details for returning guests made the flow feel effortless.

  • Mobile-first booking flow in three steps
  • Real-time room availability and pricing
  • Fast, accessible pages that load in about a second

The result

In the first three months direct mobile bookings rose by 38%, and the hotels now keep the commission they used to pay to booking sites. Guests rate the new experience 4.8 out of 5.

Guests tell us booking direct is now easier than using the big travel sites – and our commission bill has dropped every month since launch.
